INTRODUCTION

In view of rapid economic development, our existing education system has proved to be inadequate in meeting the growing needs for instructions in diversified areas. The need for better systematic education of children by properly trained teachers is real. Teacher’s vocational training should not be seen merely as a means of creating a positive attitude towards work and an increase in the skill base of students. It is actually a strategy to create a full range of competences for meeting the manpower needs of the country in various sectors of economy as also for facilitating self-employment.

The major objectives 0f vocational education are

1. Promoting individual employability.

2. To reduce mismatch between the demand and supply of skilled manpower.

3. To provide a viable option other than pursuing higher education without any purpose or utility

Institute Of Nursery Teacher’s Training

NIMS Education has started Nursery Teacher (NTT) Course on all India basis in consultation with learned experts in education with a view to train the unemployed educated girls, particularly those from economically weaker sections,Sc’s ,STs and backward classes. The ultimate Purpose is to facilitate education of pre- school children on modern lines through creation of a pool of NTT qualified teachers. The N.T.T. course lays emphasis on development of moral, intellectual, physical and social personality of children. The institution is affiliated to Delhi Management Studies Programme (DMSP), New Delhi, Reg. by Gov. Of NCT Delhi, Under Act, 1860.

The course is conducted on an all India basis through a network of study centers in different cities

Our College imparts training to aspiring teachers, Who are devoted to the cause of education. The various convents, nursery and public schools have good demand for our NTT trained teaches. Our students have been appointed in various institutions on good salary. Our objective is to make our students experts in child education at nursery/ Pre-school level so that they become reputed as N.T.T. qualified teachers.

Final Examination

The final examination will be held in May/June every year. Certificates and mark sheets of the said course are issued to successful students (by DMSP).

Medium

The medium of instructions for teaching of the NTT course will be Hindi/Punjabi/English language. The students are allowed to choose any medium for the examination but it should be mentioned clearly in examination form.Seprate English medium students is atleast 35 in one section.

How To Apply

The Prospectus can be obtained from the study center office by paying the charges. The filled in application from along with Xerox copies of following certificates should be submitted to the study center.

1. Xerox copies of certificates of qualifying examination, intermediate (+2), Graduation and Post Graduation as applicable.

2. Xerox Copy of Character Certificate.

3. Five Passport size photographs of the applicant.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM

1. All entries in the form must be made by the candidate in his/her own handwriting. Entries must be clear and legible.

2. The application form must be completed in all respects. No column should be left unfilled. If any information sought is not applicable to the candidates, the words”N.A.” should be entered against the column.

3. Copies of no. of certificates need to be attached with the application form. Without the required documents being attached, the application is liable to be rejected.
